When I was about ten years old. I loved the outdoors, camping and fishing were my favorite things to do. Living in the outdoors meant freedom to me in a way. I would sleep outside in the backyard during summer just for fun. My mother would always have my older brother or someone sleep outside with me because she felt I was too young. I disagreed, so one day I asked and/or begged my mother to let me sleep outside by myself. She being overly protective said "ABSOLUTELY NOT".
It was then I realized I had to take this project into my own hands. That night I came up with the plans. The next day I was going to slowly and sneaky bring supplies for a one-night campout to my room and hide them there. Before I knew it, nightime was near. I grabbed all my supplies which consisted of a tent, sleeping bag, pillow, snacks, a flashlight and alarm clock.
When I was sure my parents were asleep I hopped out my window and went to the backyard. I had my campsite up in no time. I was living the dream, eating snacks and playing my gameboy. When my eyes felt heavy and I was ready for sleep I set my alarm for six a.m. so I could wake up before my parents.
I woke up to bright blue sky and sunshine. I packed up camp and hid any revealing of me being there. I went and put some supplies in the garage like the tent and sleeping bag. Then I went to my room and hid the rest of the stuff there. I went upstairs to have my regular summer morning eggo waffles with a smile on my face, thinking "project gone amazing".
That's pretty funny.
